Terms of Sale

These Terms of Sale govern all purchases made through the Iowa Fence Supply Contractor Portal. By submitting an order, you agree to these terms on behalf of your company.

1. PAY TO CONFIRM — NO EXCEPTIONS

No order is confirmed, no material is allocated, and no supplier order is placed until payment is received and cleared. This applies without exception to all order types. Submitting an order does not constitute a confirmed order. Iowa Fence Supply reserves the right to cancel any unconfirmed order at any time.

2. PAYMENT METHODS

2.1 ACH Bank Transfer

ACH bank transfer is the preferred and default payment method. No surcharge applies to ACH payments. ACH payments are processed through our third-party payment processor.

2.2 Credit Card

Credit card payments are accepted with a 3% surcharge applied automatically at checkout. The surcharge is displayed transparently before payment confirmation. The surcharge covers processing costs and is non-negotiable and non-refundable.

2.3 Invoice Later

Invoice-later is available on vinyl job orders only. An invoice is generated at order submission. Nothing moves to fulfillment until the invoice is paid in full. Invoices may be paid at any time through the Portal's invoice dashboard.

3. PRICING

All pricing displayed in the Portal is specific to your contractor account tier. Prices are subject to change without notice. Pricing is recalculated each time a draft order is opened. Iowa Fence Supply makes no guarantee that pricing will remain unchanged between draft creation and order submission.

Shipping costs are baked into unit pricing. No separate shipping line item will appear on your invoice. All orders ship to your shop address on file — no exceptions.

4. SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

All orders ship to the contractor shop address on file with Iowa Fence Supply. No job site deliveries under any circumstances.

Vinyl products from our vinyl fence suppliers carry a standard lead time of 4–6 weeks from confirmed order.

Timber Estate products carry a 12-week lead time from confirmed order.

Chain link products ship directly from our chain link suppliers. Lead times vary.

Tool products from our tool suppliers are fulfilled directly by our supplier.

Lead times are estimates. Iowa Fence Supply is not liable for delays caused by supplier production schedules, weather, or carrier delays.

5. NO RETURNS — NO REFUNDS

All sales are final. Iowa Fence Supply does not accept returns or issue refunds on any product. If you receive damaged or incorrect product, contact us immediately at info@iowafencesupply.com. Damage and error claims are handled on a case-by-case basis at our sole discretion.

6. ORDER ACCURACY

You are responsible for verifying all order details — product selections, quantities, colors, heights, and job information — before submitting. Iowa Fence Supply is not responsible for errors in orders as submitted. The material calculator is an estimation tool only. Iowa Fence Supply is not responsible for shortfalls or overages based on calculator output.

7. PREORDER TERMS

Preorder items must be paid in full at the time of checkout. No invoice-later option is available on preorders. If you do not complete checkout before the preorder cutoff date, your cart hold releases and the preorder price is no longer available.

8. ORDER MODIFICATIONS

You may add items to a submitted order within 72 hours of submission through the Portal. After 72 hours, submit a new order referencing the same project number. Iowa Fence Supply cannot guarantee that additions will ship with the original order.

9. SALES TAX

Contractors with a valid Iowa sales tax exemption certificate on file are billed at $0 sales tax. Iowa-based contractors without a valid exemption certificate are charged Iowa sales tax at the applicable rate. Out-of-state contractors are subject to applicable state and local tax rates. It is your responsibility to maintain a current exemption certificate with Iowa Fence Supply.

10. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms of Sale are governed by the laws of the State of Iowa. Any dispute arising from a purchase shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Polk County, Iowa.
